My son moved to Mark just a few months ago. He was not confident and considering giving up playing but has been completely turned around. He has rediscovered his enjoyment and is always happy and positive after every lesson he has with Mark and looks forward to the next one. It is lovely to see and we are delighted with the change.

Mark is currently teaching piano to 3 members of our family. My eldest son (10) has been studying with Mark for 4 years – initially in Leeds and now via Skype since Mark moved to Spain. He enjoys his lessons with Mark and we have been delighted by his progress and the high exam marks he has achieved. My youngest son (7) has been studying piano with Mark for 1.5 years, all lessons via skype, and is also making good progress. Having seen how much the children enjoy their lessons, my husband (45) has now also recently started piano lessons via skype with Mark and has been very impressed with the lessons. We highly recommend Mark as a piano teacher. He is enthusiastic, extremely patient, readily adapts his lessons to the students needs, and is able to relate and encourage his students across a wide age range.

Moving to piano lessons with Mark has totally revolutionised my daughter's love for music. Not only does Mark teach her how to play music, she is learning how to adapt music sheets and finger placement making the whole experience totally different to your usual lessons. She is now a lot keener to take her self off to practice in her spare time, for the love, not just because she feels she has to. Mark has found the perfect balance of being a teacher and an inspiration to young students. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Mark is a fantastic, inspirational teacher. He has been teaching my two grandsons for the past 5 years, initially in Leeds, and, since he moved to Spain, via Skype.He makes his lessons fun - and practising between lessons has never been a chore for our two boys. Mark sets high standards, his students respond positively to his expectations, and the results are evident in the exam successes that his students achieve. After 5 years my older grandson, age 13, is already preparing for his Grade 6 exam.I recommend him without reservation to anyone who is looking for a piano teacherClare Jenkins

Mark is an excellent, patient piano teacher. He has been teaching my 2 children (now aged 11 and 14) from an early age and they have worked their way through the grades and are now due to sit their grades 4 and 5 respectively. For the past 2 years the lessons have been over the internet and these have been just as successful as face to face lessons. I would thoroughly recommend Mark as an highly skilled and talented pianist and piano teacher.

Mark has been teaching my two sons for 5 years with great success, the last two years via skype lessons (we live in the UK). Both boys started as beginners and have progressed at a good pace, with excellent exam results. Mark adapts the lesson to each student, making it challenging but fun. The boys enjoy the lessons each week. I can thoroughly recommend Mark to any parent looking for a piano teacher for their children.
